In support of September&#8217;s World Cleanup Day, the company, with a strong focus on maintaining clean and hygienic environments, has partnered with World Cleanup Day Indonesia. Together, we are embracing the spirit of transforming a single day&#8217;s efforts into everyday habits for a cleaner future.<\/p>\n<p>Ricardo Purba, OCS Group Indonesia&#8217;s ESG Programme Leader, emphasised, \u201cAligned with our ESG Commitment, this initiative goes beyond raising awareness about the importance of a clean environment. We encourage people to gradually change their behaviour towards waste.\u201d The Key Account &amp; Service Excellence Director added, \u201cWe also focus our efforts on waste management to ensure collected waste is processed, rather than ending up in a landfill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andy Bahari, Leader of World Cleanup Day Indonesia, expressed optimism, stating, \u201cWe have high hopes for OCS Group Indonesia, and we believe that our collaboration can create a meaningful impact, transforming participants into agents of change in both the company and society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>World Cleanup Day is a global cleanup movement that is celebrated every third week of September. Since its successful launch in Indonesia in 2018, the cleanup initiative has made significant strides.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration between OCS Group Indonesia and WCD involved 50 participants, including OCS employees, members of the Disaster Mitigation Agency of Depok District, and volunteers from the local community. The activity took place at the upstream location of the Ciliwung Conservation Educational Park in Depok, West Java province.
