OCS Indonesia<\/a> proudly introduces the \u201c\ud835\uddda\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddfb \ud835\uddd4\ud835\uddfd\ud835\uddfd\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddfb\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddf0\ud835\uddf2\ud835\ude00\ud835\uddf5\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfd \ud835\udde3\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddf7\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf0\ud835\ude01\u201d, an initiative designed to enhance workforce productivity while promoting social mobility and equity.<\/p>\n

Part of the \ud835\udde9\ud835\udde2\ud835\uddd6\ud835\udddc\ud835\uddd9\ud835\uddec\u00a0(Vocational Amplify) initiative, this three-year programme is inspired by the UK\u2019s renowned apprenticeship system. Together with our Business Partners, we aim to prepare a future-ready workforce by fostering private-to-private collaboration.<\/p>\n

Under this programme, candidates selected by OCS Indonesia and our Business Partners will participate in structured training to acquire technical skills and certifications accredited by leading British vocational institutions. By blending Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) principles with best practices in compliance, productivity, quality, efficiency, and sustainability, the programme equips participants to meet international standards. This not only enhances their career prospects but also contributes to Indonesia’s economic development.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Central to the Green Apprenticeship Project is a commitment to environmental sustainability<\/a>. The programme incorporates circular economy practices to minimise carbon emissions to mitigate climate change impacts. In later stages, it also champions inclusivity by opening pathways for individuals in remote areas or with disabilities, supporting their integration into regular employment and ensuring long-term success that remote location can be mitigated with technology and disability is not obstacle at all to deliver productivity and efficiency. By focusing on both environmental responsibility and social equity, the project creates a ripple effect of positive change.<\/p>\n

Participants will directly apply their technical training to real-world jobs while earning wages in line with Indonesia\u2019s labour regulations. This practical approach underscores OCS Indonesia\u2019s mission to build resilient, sustainable communities across industries.<\/p>\n

We are deeply grateful for the support of the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the BritCham Indonesia<\/a>. Industry pioneers in automotive, e-commerce and logistics sectors will pilot the programme alongside OCS Indonesia, with the official launch set for March 1, 2025.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

This week, on December 16, 2024, a key review session marked a significant milestone in this journey. Led by our Managing Director, Yohanes Jeffry Johary, the meeting brought together vital stakeholders, including Jonathan Ledger, UK DBT; Annisa (Icha) Istighfari, UK DBT in Indonesia; Ian Leonard Betts, BritCham Indonesia, Odin Olaya, ABE UK, and senior leaders in automotive industry like Iman Santoso, David Tampubolon, and in e-commerce & logistic industry like Jason Ryandi Assana, and Aldin Muhammad Qadrian.<\/p>\n
