Every March, International Women\u2019s Day (IWD) celebrates the contributions women make at work, at home, and within their communities. For many women, building a career often happens alongside many other responsibilities.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme, \u201cGive to Gain\u201d, highlights how supporting others can also help us grow. When leaders share experience, encourage colleagues, and help others move forward, they often strengthen their own confidence and perspective as well.<\/p>\n

Four women leaders at OCS Indonesia share moments from their professional journeys and the lessons they have learned along the way.<\/p>\n

Leading yourself first – Raysha Rahma (Head of Legal and Compliance)<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Raysha Rahma leads the Legal and Compliance team while raising three children. Both roles require focus, patience, and thoughtful judgement.<\/p>\n

When she first started her legal career, she learned perseverance and adaptability. There were moments when others underestimated her. Instead of reacting to the doubt, Raysha chose to focus on doing her work with integrity and commitment. Overtime, that steady approach built trust.<\/p>\n

For Raysha, being able to lead oneself is the first step for being a leader. We must develop self-assurance and self-control if we want to make impact on others.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Strength in every role – Deysi Wantania (Key Account Manager)<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As a Key Account Manager, Deysi Wantania manages a large operational team serving manufacturing customers. Her days often move between site visits, discussion with customers, and supporting team members as they work through operational challenges.<\/p>\n

Outside work, she also manages family responsibilities. Balancing both roles has strengthened her ability to stay organised and resilient when solving problems.<\/p>\n

She guides her team with empathy and collaboration. Team members feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and supporting one another.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Anna Miettinen leads the sales team at OCS Indonesia. Her career spans more than twenty years across several industries, including banking, real estate, technology, and facilities management.<\/p>\n

Her early career instilled discipline, curiosity, and a drive to excel. For Anna, sales means recognising the value of what to offer and understanding our unique contributions.<\/p>\n

Despite the challenges of working in such a competitive field, Anna never saw gender as something that could hold anyone back. In her view, leadership is defined by capability and willingness to grow.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Rather than to prove others wrong, Stella chose to lead in a way that stays true to her strengths with clarity, discipline and thoughtful judgement.<\/p>\n

For her, a good leader won\u2019t pursue attention. They focus on creating something meaningful and thinking ahead for the long term.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n
