These days, cyberspace is part of everyday life. Most of us reach for our phones soon after we wake up. Before long, we are scrolling, searching, messaging, and moving from one digital activity to the next.<\/p>\n

We use the internet to find information, stay in touch with friends and colleagues, across services and make purchases without commuting. From communication and collaboration to entertainment and learning, much of daily life now happens online, especially in the AI era.<\/p>\n

This digital world brings many benefits. Information is easy to access, people stay connected, and there are new ways to work and get things done. At the same time, it also presents risks that require our attention. Scam emails can appear in our inboxes. Deepfake photos or videos can distort reality. Personal information can be exposed through a single careless click.<\/p>\n

These risks affect people, systems and services every day. That is why cyber resilience depends on more than technology alone. It relies on awareness, good judgement and the choices we make whenever we interact with digital tools.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

As part of OCS Resilience Week 2026, the Cyber pillar encourages all of us to stay alert and stay connected to the risks that can affect our work, our colleagues and the customers and communities we serve. Recognising threats, following good digital habits and acting early can help reduce disruption, strengthen trust and keep operations running securely.<\/p>\n

At OCS Indonesia, one of the ways we build cyber resilience is through regular communication from our IT team. They share practical guidance on the digital environments and the cyber threats we may encounter. These conversations help colleagues recognise risks and respond with confidence.<\/p>\n

Beyond technology<\/a>, resilience grows through the actions we take every day. Reporting a suspicious email, protecting sensitive information, using strong passwords and verifying information before sharing it are simple steps that help safeguard our organisation. Small actions like this build resilience for tomorrow and beyond.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n
