Our customer is one of the leading data centre operators in India with operations in all regions of India. This high-profile client has more than more than 12 large data centres with more than 200 MW capacity currently under operations and more under design & project phase. OCS India provides Critical Facility management services across multiple data centres.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

The Challenge <\/h3>\n

The challenge was to Ensure 100% uptime of all installations thus delivering highest level of efficient operations to meet expectation of the end customers. Our key challenges included Immediate response, reaction & effective resolution in case of any issues, ensuring knowledge & skill set of the team, providing regular and prompt Management Support & Governance and arresting manpower attrition.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

The Solution<\/h3>\n

OCS deployed a solution is based around complete ownership and accountability of critical infrastructure management. The solution included O&M of Mechanical & Electrical installations & Utilities, Managing Spares \/ Consumables \/ Tools Inventory, AMC management, Condition Based Monitoring & Technical Audits, Energy Conservation, Adherence to EHS practices Managing uptime & performance.
\nSome of our initiatives to address customer challenges are – Rigorous staff selection criteria to ensure skilled staff to achieve 100% uptime; Deployed SME\u2019s for Soft & M&E Services to implement customized SOP & appropriate training programs; RCA & CAPA process implemented to avoid repetitive breakdowns; CEV: Colleague Engagement Visits by Senior management; Quarterly training programs to address technical skills, HSQE and soft skill training.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

The Outcome<\/h3>\n

Our solution has led to tangible outcomes in line with customer expectations. Response & resolution ability of the site staff improved that helped us to achieve near 100 % uptime. Asset Life cycle enhancement, Attrition rate controlled to < 4% and Design PUE delivered through efficient cooling.
