At the recent panel discussion at Cloud & Datacenter Convention – Global<\/a> event at Jakarta on AI-Empowered Data Centres, expert panelist Manoj J. Parekh added that the complexity of these next-generation facilities demands skilled professionals who can ensure seamless integration, maintain uptime, and manage the interplay between advanced AI systems and human expertise.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

One of the primary opportunities AI brings is the ability to streamline operations and automate routine tasks. AI-powered systems can handle many standard management tasks, freeing up human resources for more strategic activities.<\/p>\n

Google<\/a> reported that its AI-based cooling system, “DeepMind,” which cut energy use by up to 40%. Substantially reducing operational costs and the carbon footprint. As per\u00a0McKinsey<\/a> estimates,\u00a0combining predictive AI models with appropriate Internet of Things (IoT) devices has led to some companies reducing maintenance costs by up to a quarter. Further, according to Deloitte<\/a>, on average, predictive maintenance reduces breakdowns by 70% and lowers maintenance costs by 25%.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Manoj urged the industry towards “explainable AI-human collaboration,” particularly in sectors where trust and auditability are paramount.
