OCS New Zealand has delivered cleaning services to The Warehouse Group (TWG) since 2004, supporting over 218 stores nationwide. For more than two decades, the partnership has evolved to meet changing market conditions, customer expectations, and operational models. In 2024, a full-service review was undertaken to realign cleaning requirements with the realities of modern retail \u2013 resulting in a refreshed, future-focused service model that maintains quality while improving visibility, efficiency and cost control.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n <\/div>\n <\/div> <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The brief<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n

TWG operates some of Aotearoa New Zealand\u2019s most recognisable brands, including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming. As the retail environment became more complex \u2013<\/strong> influenced by the rise of online shopping, COVID-19 disruptions, and inflationary pressures \u2013 TWG needed to review how it delivered in-store services.<\/p>\n

Building on a strong service history, TWG approached OCS in early 2024 to reset their cleaning programme to:<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n

To support the reset, OCS and TWG formed a joint working group made up of senior stakeholders from both businesses. The team undertook a store-by-store assessment to understand current conditions and identify areas for improvement.<\/p>\n

\n Since launching the new model in April 2024, refinements have continued based on local feedback \u2013 reinforcing a more responsive, collaborative way of working. The agreement has been renewed through to 2027.
