Among them are more than 3,600 Lao colleagues who are part of PCS operations each contributing to the consistency and reliability that customers depend on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Their presence is the result of a long-standing commitment to building a workforce that reflects both capability and opportunity.<\/p>\n<h2>A programme built on opportunity across borders<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">More than 10 years ago, PCS established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Laos; to create structured, legal employment opportunities while supporting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mol.go.th\/en\/\">workforce<\/a> needs across Thailand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">From this, the Neighbouring Programme was developed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">It provides Lao nationals with access to employment under:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ethical recruitment practices<\/li>\n<li>Fair wages<\/li>\n<li>Safe working conditions<\/li>\n<li>Full compliance with labour regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Over time, the programme has grown into a consistent and structured pathway for cross-border employment in facilities management.<\/p>\n<h3>3,600 colleagues, one shared standard<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today, Lao colleagues form a significant part of PCS Thailand\u2019s workforce, particularly within <a href=\"https:\/\/ocs.com\/th\/services\/commercial-cleaning-services\/\">cleaning<\/a> operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Out of 20,000 cleaning colleagues nationwide, more than 3,600 are part of the Neighbouring Programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">They work across multiple sectors, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Healthcare, supporting hygiene standards for patient safety<\/li>\n<li>Retail, maintaining customer-facing environments<\/li>\n<li>Education, ensuring safe spaces for students<\/li>\n<li>Commercial workplaces, supporting daily operations<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing sites, delivering cleaning aligned with safety and 5S practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">While the environments differ, the expectations remain the same.
