Championing Fair Wages: A commitment to Social Responsibility and Economic Equality
Living Wage Recognised Service Provider
Living Wage FoundationÂ
The Living Wage Foundation is a UK organisation campaigning for fair pay. The Living Wage Foundation’s real Living Wage is independently calculated based on what people need for a decent standard of living. This amounts to £12 per hour in the UK and £13.15 per hour in London. According to their independent research, these wages enable people to maintain a decent standard of living.Â
Recognised Service ProvidersÂ
We are thrilled to be a Recognised Service Provider of the Living Wage Foundation. This means we commit to paying all directly employed colleagues, not tied to customer contracts, the real Living Wage.Â
We also commit to always offering a real Living Wage bid alongside every market rate submittal to all prospective and current customers. This means the customer always has the choice to implement the real Living Wage at the point of tender.Â
By pledging our support, we ensure that all our colleagues have the opportunity to receive a wage that meets the cost of living, not just the minimum legal requirement.Â
“We’re delighted that OCS are a long term Recognised Service Provider and champion of the real Living Wage. The success of the Living Wage movement relies on the constructive involvement of both our Living Wage Employers from a client side and our partners in the contracted service provider industries, and we look forward to continuing our work with OCS and our Recognised Service Provider network to champion the Living Wage one contract at a time.”

Our Commitment to Fair Wages Â
At the heart of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values lies a dedication to social responsibility. We recognise that fair wages are essential for maintaining a sustainable and inclusive workforce. By aligning with the Foundation, we uphold our commitment to providing dignified and rewarding employment.Â
Promoting Social Equality Â
Our support for the Living Wage Foundation reflects our broader social commitments. We believe in creating positive social change within our communities and beyond. By championing fair wages, we contribute to reducing income inequality and promoting economic stability. We also work to help people with various barriers to employment find gainful work through our People into Work initiative and help to empower local communities with our charity, OCS Foundation.Â
