Kieran\u2019s Story: From Bedroom Listener to Backstage Leader<\/h2>\n
\n
Kieran has always loved music. When he heard about Tune Up<\/a>, he saw a chance to step behind the<\/span> scenes and learn how gigs and festivals come to life.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cI struggle with my mental health, so I was nervous about joining and meeting new people. But I took the<\/span> chance and I\u2019m proud of myself for doing that.\u201d<\/div>\n

Over ten weeks, Kieran learned how to book artists, manage backstage hospitality, and work as an artist liaison at a major festival. He went from watching his favourite musicians from his bedroom to playing an active role in making live music happen.<\/div>\n
Guided by Brighten<\/span> The<\/span> Corners<\/span> (BTC) mentors Helen and Caitlin, Kieran gained the<\/span> skills and confidence to start his own independent promotion company. He also volunteered at othe<\/span>r events, including the<\/span> First Light Festival<\/a><\/u><\/b>.<\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n <\/div>\n <\/div> <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

\n \u201cI\u2019ve gone from being introverted and reclusive to having the confidence to speak to new people, and even on stage in front of a crowd. BTC has changed me for the better, and I\u2019m so grateful for everything they\u2019ve taught me.\u201d <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n
