Our newly revised <a href=\"https:\/\/ocs.com\/uk\/esg\/uk-ireland-esg-strategy\/\">UK &amp; Ireland ESG Strategy<\/a> reaffirms our commitment to creating a better, brighter future by embedding environmental stewardship, social value, and ethical governance across everything we do.<\/p>\n<h3>Why ESG Matters Now<\/h3>\n<p>The global conversation around ESG is shifting, and expectations are rising. Customers, partners, and stakeholders increasingly look to organisations to lead with purpose and integrity. We see this as both a challenge and a call to action.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 50,000 colleagues across the UK and Ireland\u2014and over 130,000 globally\u2014our ESG commitments are grounded in our TRUE values: Trust, Respect, Unity, and Empowerment. From sustainable procurement to electric vehicle transition, we\u2019re embedding sustainability into every part of our business.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1623\" data-end=\"1758\">We\u2019ve committed to net zero by 2040 across all Scope 1\u20133 emissions in the UK and Ireland, and globally by 2050. Key milestones include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1760\" data-end=\"1931\">\n<li data-start=\"1760\" data-end=\"1834\">\n<p data-start=\"1762\" data-end=\"1834\"><strong data-start=\"1762\" data-end=\"1792\">100% renewable electricity<\/strong> for all UK&amp;I offices by the end of 2025<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"1885\">\n<p data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"1885\"><strong data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"1875\">70% reduction in Scope 1 emissions<\/strong> by 2030<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"1931\">\n<p data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1931\"><strong data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1921\">100% electric or hybrid fleet<\/strong> by 2034<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1933\" data-end=\"2171\">Our approach also includes partnerships with NGOs and changemakers to amplify environmental progress, support communities, and promote responsible consumption\u2014such as through lower carbon meals, waste reduction, and circular resource use.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"19a6u3z\" data-start=\"2173\" data-end=\"2217\">Leading the Conversation on Social Value<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2219\" data-end=\"2452\">While environmental sustainability remains essential, we are seeing social value take centre stage\u2014especially in the UK. Social value is about making a meaningful, measurable impact in people\u2019s lives, beyond compliance or checklists.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2454\" data-end=\"2554\">In 2024, we generated over <strong data-start=\"2481\" data-end=\"2512\">\u00a380 million in social value<\/strong> across the UK and Ireland.
