Steps Inspiring Visit to OCS Indonesia: Building Inclusive Workplace

We were delighted to welcome Steps’ Founder and CEO Max Simpson, and Director of Communications Courtney Konyn, on their visit to OCS Indonesia Head Office and Training Centre in Jakarta, on Wednesday June 18.

Led by our Managing Director Yohanes Jeffry Johary and accompanied by Managing Director of CastleAsia/PT Jasa Cita and Vice Chairman of BritCham Indonesia Ian Leonard Betts, the full-day visit was filled with inspiring learning experiences for both the OCS Indonesia and Steps leadership teams, exchanging ideas on what an inclusive workplace truly is, and how it can help organisations create better opportunities for inclusive workforces.

At OCS Indonesia, we understand that inclusion comes from consistent, thoughtful actions. Our mission is to making people and places the best they can be, and that commitment includes everyone. This means embracing individuals with disabilities and those who are neurodivergent as a valued and integral part of our team and vision.

Creating truly inclusive workplaces, however, is a journey. It requires the right infrastructure and strong collaboration. With the continued support of organisations like BritCham and AmCham Indonesia, we are building the foundation needed to turn inclusive values into real impact. We also invite others across industries to champion with us in this effort, helping to build a more inclusive future.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Max and Courtney of Steps, to Ian of CastleAsia and BritCham, and also to our Executive Committee and all colleagues who helped make the visit an insightful experience.
