FM Indonesia Forum 2026 Convenes Leaders to Strengthen Future-Ready Facilities Management in Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia – 28 January 2026FM Indonesia Forum 2026 takes place today at Shangri-La Jakarta, bringing together leaders from government, business and the facilities management (FM) community to strengthen the capability and standards needed for resilient, efficient and inclusive workplaces across Indonesia’s built environment.

Held under the theme “The Next Wave of Facility Management in Indonesia: Elevating Workplaces, Embracing AI, ESG, and Inclusivity,” the Forum focuses on practical delivery. The programme examines how leadership decisions translate into consistent on-site execution, including service performance, asset reliability, workplace experience, wellbeing and long-term sustainability.

FM Indonesia Forum 2026 also marks the official introduction of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) to Indonesia and the first IFMA-supported forum in the country. The Forum is held under a strategic Memorandum of Understanding between IFMA Global and OCS Indonesia, with OCS Indonesia appointed as the local organiser.

Discussion themes include:

  • Digitalisation and AI in operations and workplace services
  • ESG delivery and decarbonisation through day-to-day operating practices
  • Inclusive workplace design, wellbeing and experience expectations
  • Professional standards, governance and capability building for a future-ready FM sector

The Forum is supported through knowledge and outreach partnerships, including CastleAsia, AmCham Indonesia, and BritCham Indonesia, providing a platform for cross-sector dialogue among policy leaders, asset owners, workplace strategists, service providers and technology innovators.

“Facilities management is where strategy meets delivery. When workplaces are operated with discipline and good governance, organisations see stronger asset performance, safer environments, and more consistent experiences for the people who use them. At its best, FM helps create workplaces that support human wellbeing, strengthen surrounding communities, and operate responsibly within their environmental context. The Forum is a practical step toward strengthening the FM ecosystem in Indonesia.”
