At the 9th Hospitality Indonesia Conference in Jakarta, 10–11 February 2026, OCS Indonesia’s Managing Director, Yohanes Jeffry Johary, chaired the Hotel Investment Summit Indonesia session.
The discussion emphasised aligning financing, market positioning and operations at the planning stage. Governance, realistic timelines and having the right teams in place before opening were key priorities. Workforce capability was central, with training, defined service standards and operational clarity highlighted as safeguards for performance. The rise of wellness destinations and longer-stay formats reflected evolving travel behaviour.
