We were delighted to co-host the UK-ASEAN Business Council (UKABC) Roundtable and Dinner Reception with CastleAsia/PT Jasa Cita in Jakarta, 30 October. The evening brought together leaders from government, business and education to explore how the UK and Indonesia can help young people develop the skills needed for an inclusive and sustainable economy.
From green transition to digital readiness, the discussions highlighted a shared belief that a nation’s future depends on its people. OCS Indonesia VOCIFY Green Skills and Apprenticeship Programme, developed with UK TVET partners, shows how industry partnerships can help prepare the workforce for what lies ahead. As Indonesia moves toward Indonesia Emas 2045, building skills and fostering innovation will be essential to achieving that vision.
“Indonesia Emas 2045 begins with people. By investing in skills and creating opportunities, we can build an economy that is inclusive, resilient and ready for the future.”
Yohanes Jeffry Johary
Managing Director of OCS Indonesia
“Equipping young people with the right skills is central to building the economies of tomorrow. Partnerships between the UK and Indonesia demonstrate how shared expertise and investment in people can deliver lasting impact — for both business and communities.”
Lord Ed Vaizey
Chair of the UK-ASEAN Business Council
At OCS Indonesia, we continue working together with partners that connect education with industry and people with opportunity, helping create a stronger and more sustainable future for all.
