Our customer is Oberoi International School (OIS), one of the first IB schools in Mumbai, offering a world-class learning environment with 2 campuses in Western suburbs of Mumbai. The campuses have World class education & sports facilities, auditorium, swimming pool & cafeteria with more than 3000 students and 500 teaching staff. OCS India provides Integrated Facility management services at both premises.
The Challenge
The key challenges faced by the client faced while providing clean & hygienic environment are to maintain international standards for their services, ensure safety of students, sensitivity of the contractor staff towards students to provide a nurturing environment. All facilities and infrastructure of the school (Air conditioning & power backup systems, AV Systems) should be always up and running with quick resolution in case of any issues.
The Solution
OCS deployed a solution is based around complete ownership and accountability providing safe & secure environment to the school students and staff. The solution included end to end housekeeping services with mechanized cleaning solutions, and Operations and maintenance of all utilities (Electrical, Electronics, HVAC, Fire Safety & Fire Alarm Systems) and other services under scope.
OCS has deployed a compete operations set up, with strong Governance systems. We ensured rigorous staff selection criteria & 100% background verification to ensure an environment that is secure and nurturing, deployed ‘Subject Matter Experts’ for Soft & Technical Services to implement customized SOP & appropriate training programs, Implemented Colleague Engagement programs through senior management visits to inculcate a sense of belongingness with all colleagues. Quarterly training programs to address soft skills helping our colleagues to interact of OIS staff and students with proper etiquettes.
