A Shared Mission
OCS Singapore recently partnered with Food from the Heart’s Door-to-Door Delivery Programme, reaffirming our commitment to supporting food-insecure households across the island. This initiative specifically serves beneficiaries who face mobility or health challenges that prevent them from collecting food packs in person.
Food from the Heart is an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing reliable, consistent, and sustainable food support. Through its various distribution programmes, the organisation reaches nearly 60,000 beneficiaries each month—including children, low-income families, the elderly, individuals with special needs, and dialysis patients from the National Kidney Foundation.
Delivering More Than Just Food
By collaborating with mission-aligned partners like Food from the Heart, we expand our reach and deepen our impact. One morning, a team of OCS volunteers from across departments came together to collect and deliver food packs to households across Singapore. Each pack was thoughtfully curated with essential items such as rice, canned goods, cooking oil, and fresh produce to meet recipients’ nutritional needs.
Strength in Unity
What stood out most was the strong sense of unity and collaboration among our team. From loading food packs to navigating unfamiliar neighbourhoods, our colleagues demonstrated a shared purpose and unwavering support for one another throughout the initiative.
We are proud to stand alongside organisations like Food from the Heart in addressing food insecurity in our community. Initiatives like the Door-to-Door Delivery Programme not only uplift those in need—they also bring our teams together in powerful, purpose-driven ways.
Let’s continue to make a difference—one act of kindness at a time. Together, we can build a more caring and supportive society, grounded in shared responsibility and unity.
