These days, cyberspace is part of everyday life. Most of us grab our phones as soon as we wake up, and soon after we are scrolling, searching, messaging, and moving from one digital activity to the next.
We use the internet to look things up, catch up on social media, chat with friends, and buy what we need without leaving home. From work to entertainment, much of daily life now happens on screens, especially in the AI era.
This digital world has clear benefits. Information is easy to access, people stay connected, and there are new ways to work and get things done. At the same time, we need to be aware of certain risks. Scam emails can appear in our inboxes. Deepfake photos or videos can be misleading. Personal data needs careful handling. We encounter these regularly, so it is important to stay vigilant.
As our lives become more connected, building good digital habits helps us make the most of what cyberspace offers while staying secure.
At OCS Indonesia, one of the ways we build cyber resilience is through regular communication from our IT team. They share insights into digital environments and the cyber threats we should avoid.
However, staying safe online goes beyond technology; it also depends on how we support one another and build the right habits as a team.
“Cyber resilience is not only about technology; it is also about building the right awareness, discipline, and responsibility in the way we work. At OCS Indonesia, we want our people to use digital tools safely, wisely, and responsibly, so technology can support wellbeing, protect our business, and strengthen the trust of our colleagues, customers, and communities.”

HR Director OCS Indonesia
“We believe awareness is the first line of defence. By talking openly about common risks, from phishing to deepfakes, we help colleagues recognise threats and use technology with confidence.”

Head of IT and Digital Transformation OCS Indonesia
Looking ahead to OCS Resilience Week 2026, from 2 to 6 June, we will focus on five key pillars that promote safety, security and wellbeing across our business: Cyber, Risk, ESG, QHSE and Wellbeing.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of how OCS is strengthening resilience across colleagues, customers and communities, while encouraging a sense of shared responsibility. By promoting personal ownership and everyday action, Resilience Week highlights how everyone can play a part in building a safer and more resilient organisation.
