OCS Indonesia Participates in World Workplace Asia-Pacific 2024

OCS Indonesia is excited to share our recent participation at the World Workplace Asia-Pacific 2024, hosted by the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) in Singapore, on July 23 – 24. Over the course of two insightful days, our Managing Director, Yohanes Jeffry Johary, joined the stage as a speaker and panellist, discussing sustainability and operational excellence through circularity in facilities management.

The conference also provided a fantastic networking opportunity for our leadership team during the gala dinner. This event allowed us to connect with industry leaders, exchange ideas, and explore new collaborations. Celebrating our commitment to making people and places the best they can be, we stood alongside the biggest FM players in the Asia and Pacific region, sharing our vision for a sustainable future.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to IFMA for featuring us in the event, and to our leadership teams both in the country and the APAC & ME region. Together, we’re paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future in facilities management.

OCS and Diversey Indonesia Collaborate on Beach Cleanup and Mangrove Planting

We’re thrilled to have achieved two significant missions in one day for a greener and cleaner planet!

In celebration of the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem on July 26, OCS Indonesia and Diversey Indonesia, a Solenis company, teamed up for a beach cleanup and mangrove planting at Marunda Beach, North Jakarta, this Wednesday. Fifty volunteers successfully collected 162 kilograms of plastic waste and planted 200 mangroves. These activities aim to protect our coastlines and communities from rising sea levels and storm surges while restoring biodiversity and enhancing carbon storage capacity.

Andi Saputra, OCS Indonesia’s Chief Financial Officer and ESG Ambassador, said, “Our commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles is clear. These activities are dedicated to the environment, helping to protect our ecosystems, and strengthen our community. We hope to inspire everyone to keep making a real difference.”

Amit Menon, the Country Leader of Diversey Indonesia, added, “Diversey is committed to providing eco-friendly products, and we are excited to collaborate with OCS Indonesia on environmental and social initiatives. This partnership highlights our dedication to environmental sustainability and to driving positive change.”

A huge thanks to everyone who participated and made these initiatives a success, including to our organising partner, World Cleanup Day Indonesia. Together, let’s create a greener and cleaner present and future!

OCS and Diversey Indonesia Present Sustainable Solutions at Bappenas’s Green Economy Expo

OCS Indonesia is honoured to be invited to the BAPPENAS (Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning)’s Green Economy Expo 2024, held from July 3 to 5 at the Jakarta Convention Center.

The event, themed “Advancing Technology, Innovation, and Circularity,” aims to provide a platform for public institutions, private companies, and non-governmental organisations to promote inclusive and sustainable development through green economy practices.

At the expo, OCS Indonesia is partnering with Diversey Indonesia, a Solenis company, to showcase our innovative solutions, demonstrating both partners’ commitments to sustainability.

Nina Arsih, OCS Indonesia’s Commercial Excellence Director, shared, “We manage all our work processes digitally, from e-recruitment, e-contracts, and e-training to our integrated workplace management system, e-patrol, and smart cleaning solutions. This approach helps us save at least 160 trees annually by reducing paper usage.”

During the exhibition, we were pleased to present our green solutions to notable attendees, including the British Deputy Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor Leste, H.E. Matthew Downing, and the Ambassador of Denmark to Indonesia, H.E. Sten Frimodt Nielsen.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the UK in Indonesia – British Embassy Jakarta and the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning for featuring us at the event. Special thanks also to Diversey Indonesia, a Solenis company, for the collaboration and to everyone who supported our participation. We look forward to achieving our sustainability goals and fostering future collaborations to expand the green economy.
