A healthy workplace goes beyond physical condition. It is shaped by how people feel, think, and the habits they build every day. At OCS Indonesia, we believe health is not just a personal matter. It’s something we build together through a supportive environment.
We launched our Wellness Programme last year to support our colleagues’ wellbeing. Our spirit aligns with the World Health Day 2026 theme, “Together for Health, Stand with Science”, celebrated on 7 April.
This journey began to raise awareness and encourage colleagues to take better care of themselves and people around them. This year, we are strengthening the programme with new ideas and an improved system. Let’s explore more about the programme and its direction in 2026 as we spoke with Dwi Pratomo, Head of Compensation and Benefit at OCS Indonesia.
Building awareness and healthy habit
Through continuous observation and discussion, our HR team has developed a wellness programme that supports all colleagues. We aim to build sustainable healthy habits, whether for those who spend most of their day at the office or those working across customer sites with high mobility.
One key initiative is the Active Challenge, a programme that converts various physical activities into measurable distance. Every movement counts. A dedicated dashboard allows colleagues to record many types of activities, including walking, running, weight training, swimming, pilates, and others.
With our new dashboard, colleagues can monitor their progress based on their own interests and routines. Monthly reward and an annual grand prize help drive participation and consistency.
“We want to build awareness and inspire people to care more about their health. It starts with each individual, and we hope our colleagues can become a positive influence for their families and the wider community.”

These small steps have motivated colleagues to stay active. Despite busy schedules, they make time to exercise and maintain their wellbeing. To support this, we also provide sports clubs where colleagues can exercise and connect with one another.
From mini soccer and badminton to running club and after-office workout sessions such as yoga and pilates, as well as the increasingly popular padel and daily table tennis, these activities offer both physical and social benefits.
Stand with science, strengthened in community
Science remains at the core of our programme. Our HR team collaborates closely with QHSE and IT teams to ensure each initiative is relevant, measurable, and accessible. We track health data using an evidence-based approach, including body mass index (BMI), metabolic indicators, and activity conversions.
We also organised expert-led health talks with topic tailored to employee needs. In 2025, sessions included guidance on healthy lifestyles from a medical professional and mental health discussions with a clinical psychologist.
By combining physical activity with scientific insight, colleagues gain a better understanding of how to care for their bodies. It reinforces the importance of balanced nutrition, proper rest, and overall safety at work.
Beyond health: stronger collaboration and better performance
After a year of implementation, the programme has shown encouraging results with a total of 18,318 km recorded through Active Challenge. Insurance claims remain stable, while the benefits extend beyond physical health. These outcomes strengthen our commitment to continue the programme and drive greater participation.
Many colleagues have become more aware of their wellbeing and started adopting healthier habits. Some have even influenced their families to do the same. At the same time, sports club and group activities have strengthened relationships, creating a more connected and supportive workplace. A healthier workforce supports productivity, resilience, and long-term business success.
“All of these programmes aim to create a workplace where people feel valued and supported. When colleagues feel appreciated and have strong relationships with one another, they can give their best at work.”

Stories from our colleagues
For many, the programme has become a starting point for meaningful change. One example is Satya Anggriansyah, our Digital Solution Specialist and a BMI Challenge winner.
Motivated to improve his fitness, Satya joined a gym and began combining cardio with strength training. As someone working in IT, he realised the need to stay active despite spending long hours at a desk.
He shared his approach to achieve significant progress and won the BMI challenge. Satya used body composition analysis to identify areas for improvement, adjusted his workout accordingly and ate responsibly.
“Even after a long day at work, this programme gives us a chance to connect, collaborate, and feel happier.”

Another colleague, Ike Caesaria Reny, is our Salesforce & Commercial Excellence Officer. Before the programme, she didn’t have a consistent routine for staying active.
She participated in the Active Challenge and started small. At first, she logged simple cardio sessions at home. Over time, she joined gym classes and took weekend walks of up to five kilometres. What began as a routine soon became something she genuinely enjoyed, leading her to try new activities like padel. Her enthusiasm even led her to start a padel club at the office, inviting colleagues to get involved.
“I didn’t see it as a competition. For me, it became a personal challenge to keep moving and stay healthy as we get older.”

Along the way, Ike becomes more aware of her daily habits. She started preparing nutritious meals at home and found a better balance in her routine. She now feels more relaxed and energised, which helps her stay focused at work.
Our wellness programme has become a space where people feel supported to live a healthier life, bringing a spirit of “Together for Health, Stand with Science”, to create a workplace where everyone can thrive.
