One of Ireland’s leading providers of dental care, open 364 days a year, with practices across Ireland. The customer, which began operations in 2005 in Dublin, has grown to 26 clinics nationwide. Our customer is part of a larger health provider and stands out for its extended opening hours, transparent pricing, and comprehensive dental services ranging from routine exams to oral surgery and orthodontics.

The Challenge

OCS Ireland initiated its Cleaning Services contract with our customer in November 2021, which encompassed 26 clinics nationwide. The challenge lay in providing consistent, high-quality clinical cleaning services across all locations, considering the customers’ unique extended operating hours from 8 am to 8 pm and with clinics in regional locations.

The Solution

OCS Ireland devised a comprehensive solution tailored to meet the customers’ specific needs, implementing a standardised cleaning schedule for all 26 clinics, and undertaking cleaning activities during non-operational hours to meet Smiles Dental’s extended opening hours.

Cleaning services cover various areas, including reception areas, waiting rooms, toilets, kitchens, staff areas, and clinic rooms, while clinical healthcare equipment is cleaned and sanitised by onsite medical staff to ensure compliance.

Our Cleaning Operatives undergo training in the award-winning IMPACT Cleaning Training Programme. The introduction of our mobile auditing software enables real-time audits, ensuring transparency and immediate corrective action when needed. Audits are shared with the client to maintain accountability.

Building strong relationships with site representatives and ensuring open communication has been crucial. Customised audit plans and visitation schedules have been developed in collaboration with site representatives to align expectations and standards.

The partnership approach with our customer has yielded positive outcomes:
