The Customer
Our customer is a professional association football club in London, who compete at the highest level within the Premier League. The club recently moved their home ground to a new state-of-the-art facility and trusted us to support them in this move, with OCS having previously installed security systems within their training facilities.
The Challenge
Having been granted planning permission to build a new stadium a new chapter in our customers’ history had commenced. The challenge for OCS was to ensure that the new state-of-the-art stadium with a capacity of over 17,000 was installed with a security system, with recognition quality, capable of surveilling every seat within the space.
The Solution
Working in line with our customer’s security consultant recommendations, we developed a schedule of works to install Dallmeier Panomera® units with multifocal sensor technology together with the Dallmeier Hemisphere®.
Installation and activities were coordinated by our Project Manager who worked closely with the construction team to ensure our Security Systems Engineers’ activities were working in alignment with the ongoing construction works. Over 18 months our team installed the following security systems:
- 12 Dallmeier Panomera® camera units in the bowl and the last mile
- Dallmeier Hemisphere® PSIM with integration of all the following security systems
- 119 cameras
- 100 Sateon access control readers
- 400 Galaxy system circuit intruder alarms
- Car park barrier/bollards
- Intercom system
All onsite access control and intruder systems are integrated into the Dallmeier Hemisphere® unit which is located and monitored by the stadium’s 24-hour Security Control Room and Matchday Control Room.
The Outcome
This project was delivered on time and budget by our team and the stadium is now equipped with a security system that captures high-resolution images and video surveillance that allows for a greater depth of analysis. The system greatly reduces the risk of incidents and provides the greatest level of support for matchday security teams.
Our customer has also displayed their thanks and trust by retaining our team for ongoing maintenance and upgrade works. Additionally, the customer also entrusted our team with additional work installing over 30 Dallmeier cameras throughout their academy and their training facilities.
