Pecan is a community charity based in Peckham. They work with the local community to help people overcome challenging situations caused by poverty. Since 1989, Pecan has supported and advocated for people. Their projects address practical and emotional needs with kindness, belief and hope. Pecan advocates for social inclusion and challenges inequality and injustice at both local and national levels. Their mission is to restore futures and end poverty in Southwark by equipping people with the skills and confidence to believe in their potential. Their projects make a difference through Southwark Foodbank, Peckham Pantry, Women’s Services, Employment Support and Together Hub.
