OCS Acquires Leading FM Specialists Exclusive Services Group

We are pleased to announce our acquisition of Exclusive Services Group, a provider of contract cleaning services operating across the UK and Ireland. This transaction marks our fourth strategic bolt-on acquisition in the last 12 months. This further enhances our cleaning services footprint in key sectors such as education, data centres, leisure, media and retail. 

Since it was founded in 1960, Exclusive has established a strong and long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality, customer-centric cleaning services. The integration of Exclusive will support our cleaning division’s current and future growth plans, helping the wider business double its revenue over the next 5 years. 

Exclusive has a proven track record in adapting to the evolving needs of the education sector, complementing our existing cleaning service offering, having already acquired Accuro in 2023. Furthermore, Exclusive is a data centre cleaning specialist, a key growth area for OCS, and has strong experience in the leisure sector. 

OCS and Exclusive are aligned in their business objectives, culture and values, which will result in a seamless integration of the two businesses. OCS Acquires Abate Pest Management Services to Expand UK Pest Control Business

We are pleased to announce that we have acquired Abate Pest Management Services (“Abate”), a leading independent provider of pest control solutions based in Norfolk. This strategic acquisition significantly bolsters OCS’ existing pest control capabilities, adding new expertise and exposure to different industries such as housing associations and food manufacturing. 

Founded in 1999, Abate has built a reputation in the pest control industry for professionalism and the leading service they provide to their customers. With particular strength in Norfolk, Kent and Sussex, Abate services a range of customers in various sectors including commercial and residential housing, food manufacturing and high-value cold storage. The business works to the highest industry standards and is a member of the British Pest Control Association. For Abate, this deal provides an exciting opportunity to grow as part of OCS, creating development opportunities.

This acquisition expands our existing range of expertise to include new service lines such as CCTV drain surveys, controlled low-temperature treatments and woodworm treatments. Adding these new technical abilities to the company’s existing sector specialisms will help to fuel our growth ambitions for its UK pest control business. The transaction also shows our commitment to the East Anglian region ahead of the company moving its headquarters to Ipswich later this month.

This acquisition is OCS’ second investment in the UK market since it merged with Atalian Servest’s UK, Ireland, and Asia operations earlier in 2023, following the acquisition of Accuro, the education and healthcare focussed facilities services provider, in October. OCS announces its first bolt-on acquisition under the ownership of CD&R

OCS, a leading global facilities service provider, announces that it has acquired Accuro, a UK provider of business-critical facilities management services to the education and healthcare sectors. This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone for OCS, further strengthening its service offering to the public sector in the UK.

Founded in 2005, Accuro is a provider of high-quality facilities management services to clients across the Midlands, East Anglia, and the North of England. It holds a portfolio of successful, long-term contracts mostly within the healthcare sector. More recently, Accuro has diversified into the education sector with a focus on cleaning services.

The acquisition is OCS’s first since it merged with Atalian Servest’s UK, Ireland and Asia operations following significant investment from private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice earlier in 2023. It represents another significant step toward OCS realising its mission of becoming the world’s premier international facilities service provider and underlines its focus on providing unparalleled facilities services across the UK and beyond.

For Accuro, this deal provides an exciting opportunity for further growth and development. The integration with OCS will create new opportunities for Accuro’s team, paving the way for expanded capabilities and enhanced service offerings.
