Our recent acquisition of FES FM and FES Support Services marks a significant milestone in this journey, increasing our hard services focus within the UK market.

Rob Legge, Group CEO of OCS, explains, “The scale and density of our business are key drivers behind this acquisition. With over 4,000 engineers now on our team, we are better equipped to manage complex, multi-site contracts across a wide range of sectors.

“Scale is incredibly important when it comes to securing high-value contracts, particularly those requiring significant engineering expertise,” Rob emphasises. “The expanded team now allows us to effectively respond to complex demands, supporting a diverse range of industries.”

While acquisitions are an important part of our growth strategy, we remain deeply committed to organic growth and developing our people. Rob highlights one of our key goals for 2025: “We’re aiming to offer 1,000 apprenticeships this year. It’s all about nurturing talent within the sector and giving people, especially in regions like Scotland, the opportunity to grow.” This focus on talent development reflects our dedication to creating a skilled, diverse workforce and providing meaningful career opportunities.
