OCS Foundation: Meet The Partners We’re Proudly Supporting

Last week, we announced the OCS Foundation relaunch.  Today, we’re pleased to introduce the four inspiring organisations we’ll be supporting through fundraising and grant-giving in 2025. Here are our OCS Foundation partners:

Brighten the Corners

Based in Ipswich, Brighten the Corners empowers young people from marginalised communities through music, arts, media and live event production. Their hands-on programmes build confidence, skills and brighter futures. They help amplify underrepresented voices whilst creating pathways into employment, volunteering, and the creative industries.

Irish Youth Foundation

One in five children in Ireland lives in poverty. The Irish Youth Foundation supports grassroots projects working to change that. From after-school clubs to wellbeing programmes, they help young people reach their full potential and build a fairer future.

Teenage Cancer Trust
The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to young people with cancer. They fund specialist nurses, youth workers and hospital units that offer age-appropriate care and support. Their work helps young people navigate treatment, recovery and everything that comes with a cancer diagnosis, so they never have to face it alone. The OCS Catering team has a relationship with the Teenage Cancer Trust, raising funds for them over the past years. As such, it completely made sense to continue the relationship through the relaunched OCS Foundation.

“We are delighted the OCS Foundation has selected the  Teenage Cancer Trust as a charity organisation to support this year. Their work is incredibly important to young people and their families who find themselves fighting this most cruel and difficult disease. We cannot wait to work with the charity again this year.” Henry Watts, Catering UK Managing Director

A smiling child rings a bell while a nurse with a stethoscope and another person in scrubs celebrate and clap, suggesting a joyful medical milestone.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers
Scotty’s Little Soldiers supports children and young people who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the Armed Forces. Through tailored bereavement support and opportunities to connect with others in similar situations, they help bereaved military children rebuild and thrive. OCS has had a decade-long partnership with Scotty’s Little Soldiers through our Private Sector FM team. We’re thrilled to embed them into the wider OCS Foundation system and continue this thriving partnership.

“I was delighted to hear that the OCS foundation has decided to support Scotty’s Little Soldiers. This incredible charity is very dear to my heart. And we, as a business, have supported them for over 10 years now. The work that they do supporting young people truly is inspiring. I’m pleased to continue on that journey, supporting them.” Bruce McDonnell, Private Sector UK Managing Director.
