OCS Secures Five-Year Contract with LKQ Euro Car Parts

OCS is pleased to announce it has successfully secured a new five-year contract with LKQ Euro Car Parts. This achievement signifies the beginning of a new chapter in the partnership, with OCS providing comprehensive Total Facilities Management (TFM) services. The contract spans an initial three-year period, with an additional two-year extension.

The contract encompasses a range of services such as cleaning, security and hard services. These will be implemented across three key sites:

One in Ireland and two sites in Tamworth. This comprehensive approach ensures all aspects of facilities management are covered, providing a seamless and integrated solution for LKQ UK & Ireland.

Addressing Challenges

Part of the success of the contract was OCS’s ability to help LKQ address its main concerns in streamlining contract services, one of them being managing first-generation outsourcing and contacts with national suppliers. Another crucial factor is supporting LKQ UK & Ireland through change management, ensuring compliance and improving technical solutions. To address these, OCS will increase efforts in communication, implement advanced reporting systems, and provide comprehensive training to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and qualifications to deliver exceptional services.

Investment in Security Upgrades

OCS has also outlined plans to invest £350,000 in upgrading security systems across LKQ sites, including installing new gates, advanced camera systems and further security measures designed to streamline operations and reduce long-term costs. These upgrades will be done through OCS Systems. The investment aims to create a more efficient and secure environment, minimising the need for manual checks and enhancing remote monitoring capabilities.

Recruitment

This contract win will also open doors for employment opportunities. New positions will be introduced, including roles for an FM helpdesk and an administrator, to support the expanded scope of services.

“The Private Sector FM Industries team has secured this first generation outsource contract with LKQ through their industry recognised reputation in partnering with multi-site locations within the Industries sector. We were proud to show case our portfolio that secured the confidence the clients needed to make this leap into partnering with OCS.”
