OCS is honoured to announce our facilities services partnership with Battersea Power Station, one of London’s most iconic and reimagined landmarks. This collaboration will enable us to provide cleaning and security (soft services) to create a safe, welcoming, and vibrant experience for all who visit. Claire Rumsey, Managing Director of Destinations, and Tom Anderson, Business Director for Destinations, played pivotal roles in securing this project, bringing it to fruition with their commitment and expertise while demonstrating a deep understanding and appreciation for the landmark’s unique legacy.

This partnership is a significant milestone, fulfilling a long-held vision of OCS UK & Ireland CEO Daniel Dickson. From the early days of Battersea Power Station’s redevelopment, Daniel lived nearby and witnessed its transformation, sparking his aspiration for OCS to support this landmark as its FM provider. He aimed to contribute to Battersea Power Station and establish OCS as a forward-thinking facilities management partner committed to quality, sustainability, innovation and community impact.
Daniel’s vision was to align OCS with projects that shape the future of facilities management by prioritising social value and sustainable practices. To further enhance this, OCS will collaborate with the BASE (Battersea Academy for Skills & Employment) Skills Academy, a recruitment service led by Battersea Power Station Development Company. BASE matches employers with job seekers from the Boroughs of Wandsworth and Lambeth. BASE offers access to tailored training and employment pathways that align with the needs of Battersea Power Station and its surrounding community. It equips individuals with the skills to secure meaningful and sustainable employment.
This collaboration will enable OCS to connect with talented individuals from the local area, ensuring our workforce reflects the vibrancy and diversity of Battersea and delivers local economic and social value.
