For more than 100 years, The Poppy Factory has offered life-changing employment support for veterans with mental and physical health conditions. The first of these came to work in their factory, making Remembrance poppies and wreaths. Today, their services reach into communities across the UK, helping hundreds of veterans and family members to overcome barriers and move towards all kinds of employment each year.
The Poppy Factory support members of the Armed Forces community through three main services:
- Veterans Employment Service – their largest service, helping veterans with health conditions to overcome barriers to work. One-to-one support is delivered by a network of Employment Consultants based regionally across England and Wales.
- Navigator – pre-employment support for veterans who are furthest from work. Navigator helps veterans reduce social isolation and take part in meaningful activities to improve their wellbeing.
- Families Employment Service – tailored, remote one-to-one employment support for adult family members who care for a veteran with a health condition.
