The project team delivered a comprehensive, engineering-led programme focused on asset optimisation, heat decarbonisation, renewable energy integration and advanced building management systems. The Brief
The customer required a structured technical plan to support long-term energy and carbon reduction across a sensitive defence environment.
The Outcome
More than 50 complex energy and carbon reduction projects were delivered across the estate, all within agreed budgets and timelines. Engineering-led upgrades included HVAC optimisation, heat pump integration, LED lighting, advanced controls, sensors, building automation, solar PV, solar thermal and wind systems. The installation of EV infrastructure supported further decarbonisation efforts.
These initiatives delivered annual cost savings exceeding £1 million, reduced emissions by over 1,150 tonnes of CO₂, and maintained a 100% safety record, ensuring uninterrupted operations in a high-control environment.
Comprehensive reporting provided transparency and accountability, with detailed measurement and verification supporting the customer’s ESG and Net Zero objectives.
