Executive Summary
In partnership with Anglian Water and through membership of Business in the Community and the East of England Leadership Board, the team began supporting The Feed in 2022. The Feed is a Norwich-based social enterprise working to prevent poverty, hunger and homelessness through community cafés, training programmes and a social supermarket.
Support focuses on three areas: skills development, digital inclusion and environmental improvement. This collaboration helps individuals gain confidence, access employment opportunities and benefit from practical resources designed to reduce inequality and strengthen long-term wellbeing.

The Brief
The collaboration aimed to strengthen The Feed’s community impact by widening access to skills, employment opportunities and environmental support.
The Outcome
A tailored digital training session was delivered for nine participants, helping them build essential skills such as setting up email accounts and accessing online services safely. Colleagues from Anglian Water joined the session, contributing to a supportive environment that encouraged confidence and practical learning.
Feedback was universally positive, with all participants reporting increased confidence and new skills they could apply immediately.
The collaboration continues to grow, with the partnership recognised as an example of sustained social value and community impact.
The programme will continue to support The Feed’s mission by improving digital access, enhancing skills, and contributing to a more resilient and inclusive community.
“Our work together at The Feed is a prime example of how collaboration can be used for social good over a long-term period.”
