Delivering measurable progress across People, Planet and Trust

Our 2024 Impact Report outlines measurable progress across People, Planet and Trust. Guided by our TRUE Values – Trust, Respect, Unity and Empowerment – we continue to embed transparency and accountability in the way we operate. The report highlights how strategy becomes action, from creating employment and supporting communities to reducing carbon, improving inclusion and strengthening business resilience. It also reflects the data, partnerships and measured outcomes that demonstrate how OCS is making progress across the areas that matter most.

People: Delivering £86 Million in Verified Social Value

Through our People into Work programme, apprenticeships and community partnerships, we generated £86 million in verified social value across the UK and Ireland. 378 people secured employment through our inclusive recruitment pathways, beating our annual target of 300 and more than doubling previous years’ numbers. Colleagues also raised over £143,000 for charities including the OCS Foundation, putting us on track to reach our £500,000 target by 2030.

Planet: Progressing Towards Net Zero by 2040

We continue our determined path to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2040. In 2024, 92% of electricity procured for our offices came from renewable sources. We also reported on waste metrics for the first time, achieving a 99% landfill diversion rate and supporting customers to improve recycling across their sites.

Trust: Building Confidence Through Ethical and Responsible Practices

Our governance framework remains grounded in transparency, accountability, and our TRUE Values. In 2024, we achieved ISO 22301 certification for business continuity management, complementing our existing suite of certified management systems across OCS. We also strengthened our supplier oversight, with 71% of Tier 1 and 2 suppliers signing our updated Supplier Code of Conduct, and reported zero incidents of modern slavery or human rights breaches.
