Security in focus: Navigating the BT Redcare switch-off
As part of the UK’s wider digital transformation, in January 2027, the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) will be switched off and all services relying on the analogue network will become inoperable. Among them is trusted security communications provider BT Redcare, which is being closed in August 2025 as part of BT’s move to a digital-first infrastructure.
