The Marching Chef: Fundraising for a Cause at Angel Hill Food Co.

Rob Cass, Operations Manager at Angel Hill Food Co., is known to colleagues, customers, and industry peers for his fundraising efforts, which earned him the nickname “The Marching Chef.”

With nearly £800 raised to date for The Teenage Cancer Trust, Rob is on a mission to contribute to Angel Hill Food Co’s ambitious target of £20,000 this year.

Rob manages multiple education catering contracts by day and trains for Ultra Challenges in his spare time:

  • Saturday, 3rd May: Bristol to Bath circular 50km  (31 miles)
  • Saturday, 23rd August: non-stop 50km (31 Miles) across London, while donning his Chefs Jacket, kindly sponsored by Russums
  • Saturday, 25th October: 25km Halloween fancy-dress walk across London

Driven by Purpose, Fueled by Passion

Rob’s dedication towards his fundraising is truly inspiring. Notably, his tireless efforts last year helped the team hit their goal of £17,000. This year he is as driven as ever to succeed.

Preparing for events, Rob shares, “walking has always been a passion, so being able to clock-up the miles and raise funds for such a worthy cause makes it even more fulfilling.”

Rob was inspired to start fundraising for the Teenage Cancer Trust due to his desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people battling cancer. His passion for cooking and catering provides a unique opportunity to combine his professional skills with his philanthropic goals. Rob believes every small effort matters, and this belief drives him to lead various fundraising events.

“Rob’s commitment extends beyond the individual schools he looks after and even the broader business – he brings the same level of exemplary dedication and enthusiasm to everything he does, especially his fundraising.”
