Bringing OCS and EMCOR UK Together: Strengthening Capability Through Unity

OCS has completed the acquisition of EMCOR UK, uniting two organisations with strong engineering expertise and a shared commitment to supporting vital operations across the United Kingdom. This step strengthens how we build long-term capability, deepen technical knowledge, and generate value for the customers and communities we serve.

Culture, Purpose and Confidence in Delivery

Over more than thirty years in this industry, I have observed how teams with complementary strengths can achieve greater results when guided by a clear purpose. When culture, discipline, and capability are aligned, colleagues gain the confidence to perform at their best, and customers are reassured that their most critical environments remain safe, resilient, and well managed. This acquisition reflects that belief. Colleagues and customers remain central to every decision we make during this transition and will continue to guide our work as we progress into the next phase.

Strengthening Resilience for Critical Sectors

The sectors we serve, including government, healthcare, defence, data centres, energy, technology, and life sciences, depend on consistency. Their operations must continue without interruption. Resilience stems from good practice, reliable delivery, transparent governance, and teams who understand the expectations of the environments they support. Bringing OCS and EMCOR UK together strengthens this foundation. As we integrate, my focus remains on ensuring continuity. Colleagues will have what they need to perform effectively, and customers will continue to feel assured and confident in the service we offer.

Meeting Growing Market Demands with Unified Capability

This acquisition aligns with broader market demands. The rapid growth of data centres, the rising need for energy project delivery, and the expansion of digital and mission-critical infrastructure all require partners with scale, reliability, and clear execution. Together, we can fulfil these expectations through disciplined service delivery, improved capabilities, and a more unified culture.

A Measured and Colleague-Led Integration

Our integration will be measured, steady, and colleague-led. Customers will experience continuity from the beginning, supported by additional depth behind the teams they already trust. Colleagues will encounter a culture rooted in Trust, Respect, Unity, and Empowerment, with opportunities to learn from each other and enhance our collective capability. These values guide how we work and support one another.

Looking Ahead with Unity and Purpose

To colleagues across OCS, thank you for the professionalism and steady commitment you show every day. To our new colleagues from EMCOR UK, welcome. Your experience strengthens our organisation, and I look forward to the unity and capability we will build together.

This acquisition supports our goal to become the best facilities management company in the industry. Guided by our values and our mission to make people and places the best they can be, we will move forward with focus, discipline, and confidence in the work ahead.
