OCS Australia & New Zealand has released its 2024 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, “Building on Progress, Guided by Values”. This marks a significant milestone as we continue to champion sustainable growth, inclusivity, and operational excellence.
Environmental Impact

Gross emissions decreased by 8%, while Scope 3 emissions fell by 57%—all measured against our 2018 baseline.

We achieved an 86% reduction in landfill waste, and advanced our net-zero by 2040 commitment with continued enhancements in energy use, fleet efficiency, and waste management.

Our ISO portfolio expanded, with ISO 27001 certification added to the renewed ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, reinforcing our dedication to quality, environmental, safety, and information security standards.
Social Initiatives

Our Australian team partnered with Wheelchairs for Kids, donating 38 wheelchairs to children in Zambia, and we continued to build on wellbeing, inclusive practices, and safety-focused programmes.

The Reflect RAP progressed, and we initiated a Diversity & Inclusion policy, introduced gender pronouns for all employees, and began addressing a 12.6% gender pay gap.

Recognition travelled throughout the organisation—from Apprenticeship programmes and TRUE Stars awards to Thank Your Cleaner Day™ and universal toolbox talks – nurturing learning, belonging, and celebration.
Governance Excellence

We completed comprehensive risk assessments and upheld all key ISO certifications across our business.

Our teams received anti-bribery training, and modern slavery due diligence was enhanced through Fair Supply and the Slave-Free Alliance initiatives.

Leadership development remained a priority, with targeted programmes rolled out and continued investment in succession planning and executive coaching.
