OCS Indonesia Achieves ISO 14644-1 Certification for Air Particle Testing

Only Facilities Management Provider in the Region with ISO 14644 1 Accreditation

OCS Indonesia has gained ISO 14644-1:2015 certification for the delivery of air particle testing services. This places the business as the only facilities management provider in the region to hold this accreditation.

The certification confirms that OCS Indonesia can assess air cleanliness in controlled and sensitive environments in line with recognised international standards. These environments include data centre white space and technical infrastructure, where precise conditions are essential for reliable operation.

ISO 14644-1 sets the global classification system for cleanrooms and controlled environments, defining air cleanliness by particle concentration. The standard is commonly used in sectors that depend on strict environmental control, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, advanced manufacturing and data centres.

Supporting Critical Environments Across Southeast Asia

The rapid growth of Southeast Asia’s data centre sector, driven by hyperscale expansion, digital programmes and increasing demand for AI, has increased the need for consistent environmental validation. Reliable air particle testing plays a crucial role in supporting uptime, energy efficiency, and long-term system stability.

OCS Indonesia’s accreditation provides customers with confidence that air cleanliness assessments reflect established international requirements across white space, mechanical and electrical areas and other high-sensitivity zones.

Strengthening Technical Services in the Region

“This is a meaningful step for OCS in the technical services space. ISO 14644-1 positions us to provide independent assurance to our data centre customers and strengthens our role in maintaining operational conditions across sensitive environments. It demonstrates the level of technical depth and governance we continue to build in Southeast Asia.”

Enhancing Standards Across Indonesia’s Data Centre Landscape

Indonesia remains one of the most active data centre markets in the region, supported by national programmes, digital economy targets and investment in infrastructure. Certifications such as ISO 14644-1 strengthen resilience, support compliance and help operators reduce operational risk.

Providing this testing capability as part of OCS’s in-house technical services contributes to the business’s wider aim of supporting critical environments across data centres, healthcare, life sciences and secure facilities.
