Matteo has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment and professionalism, going above and beyond expectations to deliver outstanding results. During the recent mergers and acquisitions activities, Matteo played a pivotal role in ensuring operational continuity. This was no small feat—he took on additional responsibilities outside his usual remit, working tirelessly to manage complex integrations and maintain critical business functions. What truly sets Matteo apart is his willingness to work out of hours to complete essential tasks. His dedication ensured that operational parts of the business remained fully functional during a period of significant change. Matteo’s proactive approach, attention to detail, and determination to execute his work to 100% accuracy exemplify the very best of our organisational values. Matteo’s efforts have not only safeguarded business operations but also inspired confidence across teams. Nathan works at one of our hospital sites. Everyday can be a challenge, never knowing what challenges will walk through the door. A call was made from the ED stating there was a patient with mental health needs that has an extensive history of being aggressive. Nathan and his colleague Ash, attended the scene in a calm, friendly and professional manner. They liaised between the medical team, mental health team, and patient transport team. A long wait of nearly 5 hours meant be immediately available outside of the patients room as his behaviour was unpredictable. The professional approach to keep the patient calm and ensure a smooth transition over to the patient transport team meant there was no need to physically intervene as there words of encouragement ensured the mission was successfully completed. This was a great team effort between Nathan and Ash who communicated well between several departments a a challenging patient. Great work!

Daisy has received lots of positive feedback direct from both our Partners and her Building Occupiers. On 9th October, Daisy Jones demonstrated exceptional compassion and attentiveness when she noticed an NHS staff member sitting in the reception area, visibly distressed. Upon approaching her, Daisy learned that the individual had suffered a painful fall on her way to work and had injured her arm. Despite her discomfort, the NHS worker had managed to make her way into the building, where Daisy immediately took action to ensure her wellbeing. Daisy stayed with her throughout, offering reassurance, keeping her hydrated, and engaging her in conversation to help ease her distress. When the individual’s daughter arrived to take her to hospital, Daisy personally escorted her to the car and enlisted the help of a colleague, Andy, to carry her bags. Before leaving, the NHS worker asked Daisy to pass on a message to her manager to inform them on what happened. Daisy responded with empathy and professionalism, assuring her that she would take care of it and encouraging her to focus solely on her recovery. Daisy’s actions reflect a deep commitment to guest care and human kindness, going above and beyond her role to support someone in need during a vulnerable moment, a great example of living our TRUE Values.

Robin is everything OCS want and need people to be. He is an absolute advocate for us as a company. The customers are always praising him, his team love him. As his manager I am very proud of all his achievements, and how he keeps to the OCS TRUE Values every day.

I have been approached by several colleagues to nominate Marian. He works tirelessly during every shift and nothing is too much trouble for Marian. He keeps a smile on his face, even when the going gets tough and never complains. The dishwasher broke last week and took six days to be repaired. During this period, Marian never once complained o moaned, but continued to get everything washed and cleaned keeping a smile on his face! Marian maintains a positive attitude in his work and supports the team through all circumstances

Security officer assisted a elderly female and family during a first aid incident, that lasted over an hour awaiting emergency service response. officer demonstrated empathy, customer service and outstanding professionalism. great Feedback from the elderly females daughter was received…I would like to pass on my thanks to all the lovely security guards who we’re working on the 1st floor of the Arndale on Mon 27th Oct. My mum who is 86 had a fall and was in a lot of pain.While waiting for the ambulance they got blankets and put privacy screens up and offered there help.They we’re all very kind and on behalf of myself and my family would like to thank them.My mum is recovering in hospital.

A customer visited our site on 29/10 and raised a concern regarding a recurring issue with PVP at a particular location. I followed up with the customer later that afternoon around 17:00 to ensure everything had gone smoothly. I was informed that Jagpal handled the situation exceptionally well. There was an incident at search involving PVP, and Jagpal responded by stopping the individual and escorting them out of the building. He was described as confident, stern, but fair. Since taking on the role of Supervisor, I’ve worked closely with Jagpal and have seen significant growth in his performance as a security officer. Receiving positive feedback from a customer about how he managed a challenging situation – especially one that has historically caused issues – is something I’m genuinely proud of.

When I visited the site recently, the new tenants on the second floor shared how integral Shahid was to their smooth move-in process. They said they would have been lost without his help. Shahid went above and beyond to support them in every way he could, demonstrating exceptional reliability, professionalism, and commitment. His actions reflect the true meaning of Trust, consistently showing that others can count on him to deliver and represent our team with excellence.

I would like to formally nominate Daniel Hare for an OCS Stars Award in recognition of his exceptional vigilance and bravery during a recent incident at a Court. On the morning of Tuesday 4th November, Daniel arrived on site to find the fire alarm sounding. Acting swiftly and alone, he investigated the source and discovered smoke in Plant Room A, originating from a failed transformer within the chilled water pressurisation unit. Daniel took immediate action to isolate the unit and ventilate the area, preventing further escalation and ensuring the safety of the building and its occupants. Notably, there was no response from the fire service or the alarm receiving centre at the time, and the incident was only identified thanks to Daniel’s attentiveness and proactive approach. His actions not only mitigated potential damage but also highlighted a critical fault in the fire alarm monitoring system, which is now being addressed. Daniel’s calm and decisive response under pressure exemplifies the values we strive for at OCS. His commitment to safety and duty of care deserves recognition, and I believe he is a worthy candidate for this award.

Donna always goes over and beyond always delivering first class services to our customers and puts her full heart into her job and always with a smile.

Joshua dealt with a venue evacuation in a professional way, making sure everyone was safe, even though he had not dealt with an evacuation before.

Clive demonstrated exceptional bravery and professionalism during a recent security incident, intervening swiftly when a suspect attempted to steal a wallet and identification from a member of the public outside our building. With keen observation and composure, Clive approached the scene, confronted the suspect, and safely recovered the stolen items, ensuring their prompt return to the rightful owner. His courageous actions exemplify the highest standards of integrity, vigilance, and dedication, making him a truly deserving candidate for the OCS True Star Award.

Jesus has really stepped up of late, whilst i have been busy with meetings or anything else, he has taken it upon himself to lead the team. He leads by example and organises the team with what needs doing and thinks ahead to what will need to be arranged.
