TRUE Stars

Sam is an invaluable part of our QHSE team. He is assisting in co-ordinating some big projects at the moment and he is helpful, innovative, positive and encouraging. He always takes time to explain things and projects a very positive image for QHSE which has been a great asset when dealing with incoming colleagues from mobilisations and acquisitions. Additionally he is very engaging and respectful with everyone.

Karen is a hidden gem in our team who consistently delivers excellence, going above and beyond to find solutions to the myriad problems that come up during bids. Her diligence, eye for detail, and generosity in sharing her knowledge make her both trusted and admired. Always willing to support others, she lives our TRUE values every day and is a shining example of a True Star.

Dedication in ensuring the migration of FES systems in the Aberdeen office is successfully completed and providing first line assistance to colleagues who are adjusting. His continued dedication to ensuring that everybody’s systems are up to date and mopping up the last of the laptop transitions that are still lagging behind. he has taken it upon himself to act as the bridge between the IT and operations team and has been invaluable in ensuring the process is completed.

The most helpful and selfless person.

Ashley works at one of our hospital sites. Everyday can be a challenge, never knowing what challenges will walk through the door. A call was made from the ED stating there was a patient with mental health needs that has an extensive history of being aggressive. Ash and his colleague Natham, attended the scene in a calm, friendly and professional manner. They liaised between the medical team, mental health team, and patient transport team. A long wait of nearly 5 hours meant be immediately available outside of the patients room as his behaviour was unpredictable. The professional approach to keep the patient calm and ensure a smooth transition over to the patient transport team meant there was no need to physically intervene as there words of encouragement ensured the mission was successfully completed. This was a great team effort between Nathan and Ash who communicated well between several departments a a challenging patient. Great work!

I would like to nominate Kiron for a True Star Award in recognition of his exceptional performance and attitude since joining the team. As a new starter, Kiron has quickly adapted to his role and picked up duties faster than anyone expected. He has shown great initiative, professionalism, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service. His willingness to learn, reliability, and positive approach have made an immediate and valuable impact on both the team and the customer. Kiron’s dedication and rapid progress truly embody what it means to be a True Star.

I would like to nominate Ben for a True Star Award following a direct request from the customer, who expressed their appreciation for the outstanding support provided during the new bin delivery. The customer was extremely impressed with Ben’s professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure everything was completed smoothly. He took initiative to resolve issues quickly, maintained clear communication, and delivered exceptional service throughout the process. This recognition comes at the customer’s own request — a true reflection of the positive impact Ben made. His dedication and commitment to excellent service make Ben a well-deserving recipient of the True Star Award.

Francis goes above and beyond in everything he does, demonstrating exceptional dedication and passion. His commitment to excellence and reliability make him a well deserving True Star nominee.

Toni consistently delivers results both operational & financial, the start of this term she has also supported the wider teams with both operationally support and also providing detailed financial solutions to use across the portfolio of business. Her can do attitude is evident daily and provides a calm nature of management for her team, vital part of my management team and a great ambassador for OCS.

Avila has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and hard work during the two and a half years in her cleaning position. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her tasks are completed to the highest standard showcasing her commitment to excellence.

I believe this team deserves recognition for their outstanding contribution to OCS and the malls shopping centre, their hard work and teamwork have made a significant impact to our organisation, and I am proud to work alongside with them: Paul Holloway, Avila Fernandes, Jon Lilley, Richard Lindley, Daniel Jackson, Tracey Howe and Durga Gurung.

Trust: Alvaro is a dependable and honest team member whose consistent performance and transparent communication have earned the trust of both customers and colleagues. His responsiveness and flexibility, especially during last-minute client requests, reflect his respectful and customer-first mindset. Unity: Alvaro actively supports cross-team collaboration, sharing his portering expertise with the Reservations team and contributing to seamless event execution. Mohammad Adeel consistently demonstrates exceptional trust, dedication, and professionalism in his role as a Security Officer. Nothing ever phases him – he remains calm and composed in every situation, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone. Mohammad goes above and beyond his duties, always ready to assist both colleagues and management with a positive attitude and unwavering commitment. Craig Murphy consistently demonstrates outstanding dedication, trust, and commitment in his role as a Cleaning Operative at Ravenhead. No task is ever too big or too challenging for Craig – he takes great pride in his work and ensures the shopping park is always presented to the highest standard. His efforts have earned numerous positive comments from clients, reflecting the exceptional cleanliness and presentation of the site. Craig regularly goes above and beyond to support both staff and management, making him an invaluable member of the team and a true star worthy of recognition.

I would like to nominate Marc Loakes for a True Star Award in recognition of his outstanding commitment and dedication in his dual service role. Marc consistently goes above and beyond his duties as a Dual Service Officer, managing both security and cleaning responsibilities to an exceptional standard. Most recently, during a period when our cleaning operative was unavailable, Marc immediately stepped up without hesitation taking full ownership of the cleaning tasks. He carried out litter picking across the park, emptied all site bins, and even went as far as retrieving litter from bushes to maintain the site’s high presentation standards. His positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic truly reflect the TRUE Values of OCS and demonstrate what being a True Star is all about.

Ricky is one of the first Area Managers to always help, offer support and go out of his way to help others. His personal support with customer additional works really encapsulated just how selfless Ricky is. Thank you Ricky it’s really appreciated.

Jaqueline always goes above and beyond in her role as senior host.

Ray is an exceptional team player. Despite managing his own site, he consistently goes above and beyond to support others, including fellow managers. Most recently, he demonstrated outstanding leadership and initiative by assembling a team with less than 24 hours’ notice to assist another site with a major clean. Not only did he coordinate and manage the team effectively, but he also led by example, working alongside them and getting hands-on throughout the process. His dedication, teamwork, and proactive approach make him a true asset.
