About the OCS TRUE Stars Recognition Scheme
TRUE Stars are individuals or teams who have gone above and beyond and have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the OCS TRUE Values: Trust, Respect, Unity and Empowerment.
The efforts of those recognised as TRUE Stars not only set a benchmark for excellence, but also inspire others to be their best, driving our organisation forwards as we strive to become the best facilities services company in the world, making people and places the best they can be for our colleagues, our customers and communities.

David Macmahon
- Trust
David is one of our Backstage Team leaders who always goes above and beyond to provide a world class service to visiting production companies. On a recent Katy Perry concert, he was personally recognised in a thank you email from the tour security company.
Donna Gillan

Since taking over a site earlier this year, Donna has applied her self and committed to making her self the best version she can be within the role of site manager. Donna is now onboarded to a level 4 Project management course and is inspiring the site supervisor to learn the role of site manager. Donna has displayed great leadership in MBR meetings and is now extremely proactive. It has been a pleasure watching Donna grow and for this reason I believe Donna should be recognised as a TRUE Star.
Walton St Team

Israr Hussain, John Donohoe, Windol Williams, Qasir Siddique are the definition of what team work is. The site runs effectively between the team and for the past three years of me overseeing the contract they have never let me down , the site down or the customer, The team have had long term sickness within the core team and they have pulled together to ensure all shifts are covered. They are a close team and recently Windol Williams was taken into hospital with the remaining team visiting him in hospital to show their support. The team are amazing to work with and are very supportive not only for OCS but our customer too. The team most definitely deserve to be recognised as TRUE Stars
Veronica White-Abbott

Veronica is an amazing colleague who goes above and beyond her call of duty. Veronica ensures the site security is her number one priority. In the month of August had the SIA attend site with immigration and she did her due diligence before allowing them onto site she was commended by them for her professional approach. Veronica consistently receives praise from the customer and their customers for how she upholds professionalism with the customer saying they would be lost without her. Veronica has took lead on all training for new starters as she wants to ensure they are upholding site security and setting the standard. Veronica is truly deserving to be a TRUE star nomination
Carlos Dias, Luis Guerra

Our customer asked for Carlos and Luis to be put forward for an award due to them being extremely thoughtful and courteous, as well as very hard working and supportive of the team constantly.

Wahida has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication to her role, ensuring that site operations run seamlessly. Her proactive approach and unwavering commitment have made a significant impact on the overall efficiency and reliability of our operations.

Oliver (Olly) over the last three years has always been at the other side of Teams calls and emails whenever I need assistance in regards to anything Timegate, Pay, annual leave , he is always so helpful and full of smiles. and if he does not know the answer he always points me in the direction of who could help. we then always chat about how I resolved it so he is able to assist others if required. Oliver is is my superstar. He is a credit to a great asset to his team and OCS and I believe he should be awarded for his team work and outstanding contribution to team
Callum Molley

The below feedback was passed to me by the Head Of FM for one of our contracts. To receive such great feedback on a difficult contract is fantastic and Callum should be recognised and rewarded. Callum is an exceptional member of the OCS team. Callum is always proactive and totally appreciates the ethos of working together in partnership . One simple example is last week creating additional compliance tracker for a piece of time critical work. Following all Callum’s great work on aligning our compliance trackers, to support a risk I was raising on a new building, Callum created a tracker and worked through the issues for the new build. This was alongside his busy day schedule, having just stepped forward to take on a temporary account manager role for one of my other sites.
Matt Thomas
Matt is one of the most helpful colleagues we have here at OCS. He regularly takes on tasks that are outside his own work remit and region, and he is always friendly and approachable. Matt has a huge influence in ensuring the helpdesk can function as it should, and he is an invaluable contact for the engineering team. A quote from the helpdesk team: “A living angel.”
Frank Mulhaney

Below is the note sent in from the Head of FM on one of our contracts: I just wanted to take the time to recognise the outstanding effort from Frank since his arrival at site. Frank is always enthusiastic and very willing to help. His can do attitude does shine through. A specific example is last week where he went above and beyond taking the initiative to keep me updated with the roof subcontractor. Frank took the initiative to find me in the absence of the Project sponsor and even offering a solution of taking images and video of the leaks internally, ensuring the issue could be reviewed in the absence of the contractor being able to reach the external roof. I was really impressed with the proactive thinking and commitment to keeping things moving – it’s that kind of dedication which makes a difference.
Rose Owie

Rose has in recent weeks has supported and worked alongside a new starter, and she has embraced this by sharing her great knowledge and experience to enable the confidence for the new member of our team.
Nicole Crossley

Nicole has recently started her journey as Cleaning Team Leader, and in this time she has embraced her new role and demonstrated empowerment values by working alongside the team, sharing her knowledge and experience to deliver key training and development which has been reflected in response via the customer and standards achieved. Nicole has revised schedules and how we deliver cleaning at core points and times by engaging with the team which from their key feedback has been valuable.
