TRUE Stars are individuals or teams who have gone above and beyond and have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the OCS TRUE Values: Trust, Respect, Unity and Empowerment.
The efforts of those recognised as TRUE Stars not only set a benchmark for excellence, but also inspire others to be their best, driving our organisation forwards as we strive to become the best facilities services company in the world, making people and places the best they can be for our colleagues, our customers and communities.

She consistently arrives on time, maintains high energy throughout her shifts, and never complains of fatigue. Her support for colleagues is outstanding always ready to assist, listen attentively, and foster a collaborative, respectful environment. The client also highlighted her approachable nature, professionalism, and ability to uplift team morale. She balances warmth with accountability, creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and motivated. This recognition reflects not only her personal excellence but also the high standards she upholds across the team. Her impact is tangible, and this nomination is a testament to the trust and appreciation she’s earned through consistent, exemplary performance.
David Walsh

Exceptional work, went above and beyond when we experienced extremely difficult times in the building. Always someone we can rely on when times get tough. Most noticeably when we had a leak and Dave pushed himself past his limits to ensure the building and everyone in it was safe.
Christopher dean
Chris has been an outstanding shinning star since we took the contract on. His knowledge and customer relationship stands out, nothing is too much, he the first to come forward – a true star in my eyes.

Stuart is always willing to help whenever someone needs support, he has a great attitude.
Shane lewis
Shane has proved time and time again that he goes above and beyond for our customer. Shane has just returned off a well deserved holiday, only to head straight into a customer audit, whereby he straight away got to work to deliver an excellent service. Shane always takes great pride in his work.
Denise whyte
During a particularly challenging time in my life, Denise went above and beyond to support me—not only showing genuine care and understanding, but also actively advocating for me when I needed it most. She is the kind of leader who doesn’t just manage people; she invests in them. Her willingness to stand up for her team, coupled with her empathy and commitment, makes her an exceptional leader. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and unwavering support, and I highly recommend her to anyone fortunate enough to work with her.
Adam Cronin

Adam is working for OCS for nearly 40 years. He knows the operation by heart. He completed multiple trainings and always there to support his team. His attendance rate is nearly 100% and he is never late.
Vane Fernandez

Vane carried out first aid when it was alerted that a passenger had fallen due to a epileptic fit, and had fallen and cut his head open. Unfortunately, the first aider that was sent was unsure of what to do, however Vane stepped in and assisted the passenger in the safest way.
Lisa Guinea

Following issues surrounding planned resource changes after new contract year, Lisa totally owned the issue providing swift intervention and support alongside great communication and follow up. Thank you Lisa!
Brenda Low
Brenda demonstrates ‘old school’ work ethic. She is the absolute go to of her division whether it be any queries or matters arising. I don’t think I am exaggerating when I say that I don’t know what her division would do without her. She just gets it done efficiently and timeously and believe she truly epitomises what a true star is.
Rebecca Clement

I am nominating Becca for a TRUE Star Award for the outstanding way she delivered her first major, highly complex bid. Despite the challenges of a multi-site scope and the absence of a seller, Becca approached the task with drive, agility, and determination. She not only navigated the complexity with skill but also produced a bid of exceptional quality, earning excellent customer feedback that praised OCS as one of the few bidders who had clearly engaged fully with the ITT. Becca’s achievement demonstrates her ability to empower through her expertise, equipping our team with the confidence and capability to achieve great things.

Mark constantly goes above and beyond and is always willing to help out and empowering those around him.
Zack Smith

Zack devoted evenings and weekends, at very short notice, to enable a project to be delivered within the tight timeframes, so minimising the impact on the school and the duration of the unavailability. This was more than just doing his job, this was understanding the importance of receiving materials regardless of the time of day and that works had to be carried out over the weekend and bank holidays. I am proud of Zack for his achievement.
Caroline Walker

Eddie has consistently gone above and beyond to provide a truly professional service to customers at all levels. I have received continued amazing feedback. Eddie embodies the meaning of the True Star Award. Dedicated, professional and showing an empathy for customers that are in a position they are findly extremely difficult, Eddie has and continues to provide the service and solutions that work.
Poppy Hughes

I am nominating Poppy for her outstanding standards and dedication to cleaning in the Liverpool Women’s hospital. Two heads of her ward on admissions have personally taken me aside to say how much better the ward is now that she is stationed there and to please never take her off the ward. As they have had years of problems when it comes to standards of cleaning. She never complains and really cares about making sure the hospital is clean for the babies and patients .
