Making a Lasting Difference in Our Communities
Discover the Purpose of the OCS Foundation
The OCS Foundation is a charity focused on creating opportunities for children and young people to thrive. By supporting those who need it most, the foundation leaves a lasting impact on their lives, helping them achieve a brighter future. The foundation is committed to contributing positively to communities by giving less-advantaged young people the best possible start in life.
Our Mission
We want children and young people to have no limits to their potential, their dreams, or their futures. The OCS Foundation supports causes, projects and charities that give less advantaged young people the opportunity to explore their passions, unlock their potential, and transform their lives.
Harnessing the strength and reach of OCS, the OCS Foundation is committed to empowering individuals through mental health support, developmental activities, education, skills training, networks and opportunities – equipping them with the tools to thrive. Our commitment goes beyond immediate needs, aiming to create a positive and lasting impact.
Our Support Focus Areas:
Wellbeing and inclusion, education and skills development, and community support – each chosen to create meaningful and lasting change in the lives of children and young people.
-
Wellbeing & Inclusion
Promoting mental health, physical wellbeing, and social inclusion by creating supportive environments, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and fostering connections that empower individuals to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
-
Education & Skills Development
Supporting access to learning, training, and career pathways to help individuals develop new skills, build confidence, and create a brighter future through education and active engagement.
-
Community Support
Partnering with organisations to deliver meaningful local impact by collaborating on projects that address community needs, create positive change, and enhance the well-being of individuals and families in the areas we serve.
Our Approach
To ensure the best outcomes for young people, we need to cultivate both short term, and long-term partnerships within our communities. We work with a small number of organisations which operate both locally and nationally.
We work with our colleagues to identify causes that align with the mission of the foundation and resonate with our OCS community. OCS is proud to work in many communities throughout the UK & Ireland, and our OCS Foundation aims to reflect this to have a significant and lasting impact on the places we live and work.
