Our customer is one of the leading private airport operators in India. OCS India provides critical facility management services across multiple airport facilities.
The Challenge
The challenge was to ensure 100% uptime of all installations thus delivering the highest level of efficient operations to meet the expectation of the end customers. Our key challenges included uptime of all electro-mechanical & electronics installations, smooth operations of baggage handling system and belts, errorfree operations of scanning Systems, immediate response, reaction and effective resolution in case of any issues, knowledge & skill set of the team and trade union management.
The Solution
OCS deployed a solution that is based around complete ownership and accountability of critical infrastructure management. The solution included operations and maintenance of all electrical, Electronics, HVAC, fire safety & fire alarm systems and other services under scope.
OCS has deployed a compete operations set up, including a management team at the airport premises to manage the services. Strong governance systems led by OCS Regional Head – West, to ensure effective coordination with all stakeholders to deliver as per scope – managing uptime of equipments, resource management, skilling, managing response time, handling breakdowns, managing HSE & compliances and vendor management.
OCS further implemented employee engagement programmes including colleague engagement visits by senior management, training programmes (technical, HSE & soft skills), HR engagement sessions and special day celebrations to inculcate a sense of belongingness with all colleagues.
The Outcome
Our solution has led to tangible outcomes in line with our customer expectations. Uptime of all equipments & machinery have led to efficient operations and HVAC/energy optimisation.
