In 2025, OCS New Zealand began providing cleaning and support services to Wintec, one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading tertiary providers. Mobilisation covered four campuses, 24 buildings, and more than 39,000 square metres of space. Early improvements included clearer specifications, better staff allocation, and faster response to events and incidents – ensuring services were delivered without disruption.

The brief
Wintec required a seamless transition from the outgoing provider while maintaining consistent standards across its campuses. The challenge was to stabilise services, improve communication, and support regular event cleans – often at short notice.
OCS was engaged to:
- Maintain day-to-day cleaning and presentation across 24+ buildings.
- Provide responsive event cleans with flexible after-hours coverage.
- Replace complex, generic specifications with clear, building-specific schedules.
The goal was to embed a reliable, people-focused service that could adapt to Wintec’s diverse needs.
The outcome
Mobilisation was delivered with visible leadership and rapid support. OCS ensured no interruption to cleaning, supplied equipment early, and implemented building-specific staffing – recovering hours of productive cleaning time each week.
Together these changes created a consistent, responsive service across Wintec’s campuses.
