Debby Wong, Finance Director for OCS Australia and New Zealand, was recognised as a finalist in the New Zealand CFO of the Year Awards and named a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Since joining OCS in 2006 and stepping into the Finance Director role in 2017, Debby has strengthened how finance operates across the business. Real-time reporting tools have been introduced, contract governance tightened, and financial oversight embedded more directly into day-to-day operations.
Finance now plays a direct role in how contracts are structured, monitored and delivered across the business.
During this period, OCS has grown significantly while maintaining strong cash performance and tighter control across procurement and capital planning. Major transformation mahi/work, including system upgrades and the integration of 1M, has been delivered alongside this.
Debby has also built a finance team that supports decision-making across Australia and Aotearoa.
The result is a finance function that strengthens control, supports decisions and holds the business to account.
