OCS to Acquire EMCOR UK, Strengthening Technical and Engineering Capabilities

OCS has announced the acquisition of EMCOR Group (UK) plc, a provider of hard services and integrated facilities management. The proposed acquisition will broaden OCS’s capabilities and increase its presence across the UK and Ireland, particularly in engineering and technical services.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals, with completion expected by the end of 2025. Both organisations will continue to operate independently until the transaction formally closes.

The addition of EMCOR UK strengthens our technical and engineering offering, bringing specialist expertise across critical sectors and enhancing our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality service to customers in both the public and private sectors.

EMCOR UK is recognised for delivering engineering-led facilities management services, including mechanical and electrical maintenance, energy management, compliance, and support for critical environments. The business operates nationally across various sectors, including government, defence, healthcare, life sciences, and commercial property.

After the closing of the transaction, OCS will become one of the largest providers of hard services in the UK and Ireland, with a significantly expanded team of engineers, technical professionals, and sector specialists.

“EMCOR UK is a high-quality business with strong values and an excellent reputation among customers. By bringing together our two organisations, we are creating a company with deep technical capability, strong sector expertise, and a relentless focus on customer experience.”
