OCS Receives High Commendation for Going ‘Above and Beyond’ at City of London Careers Festival

City of London’s Careers Festival 2025  recognised OCS as Highly Commendable in its Above and Beyond awards category. The award highlights our commitment to creating meaningful experiences for young people and broadening their understanding of the world of work.

The annual two-week festival invites businesses to engage local schools and students through immersive, hands-on activities. This year, OCS was proud to host a unique sushi-making day at the iconic Imperial War Museum. The event gave students a taste of both the hospitality industry and a behind-the-scenes look at one of London’s landmark institutions.

OCS also participated in the festival’s main Careers Fair, offering insight into the breadth of roles available within facilities management – from catering and security to cleaning and customer service. As a key part of our social value programme, the company’s efforts reflect its wider commitment to supporting communities, opening doors, and inspiring future talent.

We will continue to celebrate and champion this win by sharing photos from the event, including moments from the sushi workshop, across OCS channels as part of our continued celebration of impactful engagement.
