Cheryl joined following the acquisition of EMCOR UK, where she successfully led the business during a key period of strategic renewal, growth through service innovation and cultural development, helping to shape it into one of the UK’s leading hard services providers.
As a Chartered Accountant who qualified in South Africa before moving to the UK, Cheryl began her career in the telecommunications sector. She later spent 18 years with AECOM in senior finance roles, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Controllership, Financial Director and UK&I Chief Financial Officer. Her leadership experience spans operational finance, business transformation and executive oversight.
As Chief Executive Officer of Critical Environments, Cheryl leads one of OCS’s specialist business areas, bringing deep experience in leading complex organisations, building collaborative customer relationships and developing people-focused cultures. Her insight and strategic focus continue to play an important role in the business.
