OCS Malaysia Wins the 2025 Business of the Year Award

Recognition for Strong Governance and Operational Performance

OCS Malaysia won the Business of the Year Award at the British Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) Business Excellence Awards 2025. We entered the same category last year and placed as second runner-up. Returning this year as the category winner reflects the steady improvements we have made across governance, operational structure, and service delivery.

What the Award Represents

BMCC’s Business of the Year Award recognises organisations that demonstrate strong financial and operational performance, clear leadership, responsible business practices, and commitment to developing local capability. Our submission highlighted the work we continue to build across Malaysia; strengthening compliance systems, expanding colleague development programmes, and improving the way we manage service quality across multiple customer environments.

How the Judging Was Conducted

The judging process included an assessment of our management approach, risk controls, environmental and social impact, and the reliability of our operations. These areas remain central to how we support customers across healthcare, manufacturing, education, commercial, and public sector environments.

Award Presentation

Tan Sri Sir Dr Jeffrey Cheah, Founder and Chairman of the Sunway Group, and HSBC Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Omar Siddiq presented the award. Our Managing Director, Roisin Quinn, Director of Business Development and Marketing, Kelvin Kong, and Marketing Manager, Jeremy De Silva accepted it on behalf of our teams across Malaysia.

The awards evening brought together organisations from a wide range of sectors, acknowledging companies that maintain strong operational discipline and contribute to Malaysia’s business landscape. For us, this recognition reflects the consistent work delivered by colleagues at customer sites every day, from maintaining safe environments to keeping essential services running without disruption.
