Behind the Scenes of Trust: 38 Years Supporting the People of PCS

Behind the Scenes: 38 Years of Dedication Supporting People at PCS

For 38 years, Maneenuch Praidee has been a quiet but vital force behind the success of PCS. From her early days supporting employees through social security services to her current role overseeing Licensed Security Guard (ThorPor 7) permits under the Security Business Act, her work has always centered on one thing: helping people.

Her journey reflects the importance of support functions in enabling frontline teams to perform their roles confidently, legally, and professionally.

A Career Built on Service

Maneenuch began her career at PCS handling social security matters, working closely with operational employees and helping them navigate benefits and resolve issues. Through this role, she developed a strong service mindset that continues to guide her work today.

“Working in social security taught me to truly care about helping others,” she explains. “It shaped my service mindset, which is essential for anyone working in a support role.”

Today, she manages the process of securing Licensed Security Guard (ThorPor 7) permits, ensuring that our security colleagues are fully compliant with regulations and able to perform their duties legally and confidently.

Supporting the Core of the Business

Security services are one of core part of the company’s operations, and ensuring that every security officer holds the proper licence is essential. For Maneenuch, this responsibility carries great meaning.

“I love my work even more now because it is directly connected to the company’s core business,” she says.

Her role helps ensure that our security colleagues can work with peace of mind while reinforcing the trust customers place in the company’s services.

Turning Challenges into Professional Growth

Like many roles that support a large workforce, the work also comes with challenges. One of the most common is helping employees understand the importance of maintaining valid licences.

Rather than seeing this as an obstacle, Maneenuch sees it as part of her professional responsibility.

“When we work with a large number of employees, we must start by improving ourselves before helping others improve,” she reflects.

The Value of Work Behind the Scenes

For Maneenuch, success within an organisation is never the result of one person alone. It comes from collaboration across every function.

“Support teams play an important role in helping build capable employees who can go on to serve customers,” she explains. “Everyone contributes to the success of the organisation.”

A Message of Strength and Self-Value

Reflecting on her long career, she believes that the strength of women lies in their confidence and independence.

“The strength of women gives us the ability to take care of ourselves and our families,” she says. “It gives us dignity and pride in who we are.”

Her message for others especially on occasions such as International Women’s Day—is simple but powerful:

“Be authentic and recognise your own value. Most importantly, never stop developing yourself.”

After nearly four decades of service, Maneenuch remains proud of one decision above all: choosing to build her career at PCS as an organisation that values people at every level.

And through her dedication behind the scenes, she continues to help thousands of employees move forward with confidence every day.
